The Story of our Logo:

One of the things that a lot of folks may not think about is the meaning behind a logo (before now, we hadn’t given it too much thought, either). Therefore, we decided to put a lot of thought into what our logo was going to be and why. We chose a logo with six distinct, and unique, petals that combine into one design. Why? We want to be accountable to the values that we promise to uphold and ensure that we share those in everything that we do.

SPIRIT (which is, not coincidentally, six letters) is the acronym that represents our values: Service to Others, Positivity, Independence, Respect, Inspiration, and Teamwork. In that way, the petals represent our commitment to our values.

The multiple colors and hues of the logo represent all of our individuals, staff, and partners and celebrate how unique and diverse we all are. By overlapping, they ensure that we all recognize the importance of our values and working together to move our individuals forward.

So, our logo is our way of saying that we value those we serve, we desire to reflect that through everything that we do, and we must remember that it takes all of us to make this organization whole. Together…we ALL make up Choices for People.
